Excellent experience. The owners were super nice and even picked me up from the airport. Check in process was easy. Rooms were a little outdated but it was a very clean and comfortable stay. It's a bit far from the main areas but definitely an easy walk.

Reviews are spot on. Relax, your lot at the Hilton. My 2 rooms were very clean. I was so warm and toasty in my bed. Very quiet too. Breakfast was homemade…not included but good.

Not nlmuch on service but amazing on entertainment. If you want to see end of the road local alaskans in their natural environment this is a great place to sit at the bar and people watch and listen.

Stopped in for a drink before boarding the cruise ship. Very friendly down to earth people. Can't wait to stop by next year.

I find it to be a really good hotel, especially for a place like Whittier. If you’re a true traveler and not looking for luxury, this place is perfect for you. There’s also a nice bar with food and drinks. I met a great bartender there who made me an Alaskan drink — the Duck Fart. So be careful when you enter the bar… you might leave feeling like a duck 😄!

We booked the swim up suite and were disappointed that the water was frozen. On the bright side, we became friendly with a penguin couple visiting from the Antarctic. Puffin kebab stand at the shopping mall is worth the visit. 5*

Staff was extremely friendly and explained the history behind the town. Be aware there is a toll fee to use the tunnel to explore Whittier. Staff let us know great spots for photos. Biscuits and gravy and hash browns were bought amd very good. -friends from ohio

We ate at the restaurant, did not stay at hotel. The restaurant seemed a bit over priced, but once we got our food, oh my gosh... The New York strip, baked potato, broccoli and bread covered the Very Large plate, plenty of food! And was delicious.
